Endless Reflection

This intense sound

That snaked through my ears

Destroyed my eardrums to trash

69696969696969696969696969

Is it the echo

Is it the endless reflection

Is it you, your face, your voice

Or the million faces that you’ve become

69696969696969696969696969

I never thought you would be in hell

You only meant to be there when we were the richest

Wilderness, that’s how you called me

Now I’m just ash

But I’m still a wild soul in your eyes

69696969696969696969696969

I wish you could civilize me

You gave me a dead body instead

Possessed me with your stinging void

Watched me turned into your shadow each night

69696969696969696969696969

You wish that I would be forever dead

I thought I had been too

I was kicked out because my mind is so rough

69696969696969696969696969

Hell is no joy

Death is just a silent dream

I prefer loneliness to endless torture

69696969696969696969696969

The poignant laugh should have been heard once

It never ended

It was my brain’s blood

Echoing through veins and arteries
