Blah Blah Blah Day, oh what a bore
When all conversations seem like a chore
Endless chatter that goes on and on
Until our patience is completely gone
Words that have no meaning or worth
Filling the air from the moment of birth
Small talk and gossip, we cannot escape
As if the words themselves are in some kind of race
Sometimes we listen with attentive ear
Hoping to find something worth to hear
But most of the time we just nod and agree
Pretending to be interested, we fake a degree
Blah Blah Blah Day, it's not the best
But we'll get through it like all the rest
For tomorrow will come and with it we'll find
Conversations that will stimulate our mind.

To all the readers who peruse this poem, May it give you a moment of contemplation alone. Perhaps you've experienced the tediousness I've shown, Of conversations that seem like an endless drone. I hope these words have given you a pause, To reflect on the value of the language we cause. May it encourage you to seek out worthwhile applause, And leave behind the meaningless, trivial clause. Thank you for reading, I bid you adieu, May your conversations be fruitful and true. And on Blah Blah Blah Day, I implore you anew, To find meaningful words that are worth pursuing through.

I’m always impressed with your work. I couldn’t agree more with this great fantastic poem!!
I could not agree more, sometimes one has to shut down and shut out the noise.
Oh I hate pointless talk so much 😭.. just makes things awkward. Conversations with depth are always amazing. Great poem!
