He holds her heart in the palm of his hand, but completely unaware

he had no idea that he'd leave her completely impaired

physically, mentally, she'd do anything for him

But all she can do is drown every time she tries to swim

everything is uncharted territory

and she's in emotional purgatory

she can't form the words, yet she can see them perfectly

but what if her actions make him see her differently

this is her burden, her insecurities to bear

to make him apart of that would be completely unfair

so give her a moment and she'll be okay

give her moment, She hopes he'll stay

she hopes he decides that she's not too much

because she lives for the touch

lives for the rush

and hopes
