Embracing Love in All Its Forms

An Ode to Same-Sex Marriage

By Saloni PatidarPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Love is pure, love is true,

It doesn't matter who's loving who.

For love sees what's inside the heart,

And not the body, from which we start.

Society tries to define,

What love should be like in time.

But love is love, with no divide,

It's the soul that we should abide.

Same-sex marriage, oh, so sweet,

A union no different from others you meet,

With love and commitment so strong,

Together they can't go wrong.

Yet society still flickers with hate,

Their hearts not fully up to date,

But love is love, and it deserves respect,

Their happiness we must never neglect.

Let's embrace same-sex love, it's true,

Their love is as pure as me and you.

Let's educate society to understand,

That love comes in all kinds of brands.

In the end, love is pure and real,

With no expiry date, or a single appeal,

So let love flow, let us all see,

Same-sex marriage, love is love, and it's meant to be.
