Encumbered by your putdowns and doubts
Confidence has evaded me
Leveled is my heart and self love
I want to run but I yearn to hold you close
Push and pull you toy with me
Sometimes love and sometimes but a shadow
Engulfed in the narcissist’s eclipse I’m lost
