Echoes of Youth
The value of friendship and connection with nature in the process of growing up.
In fields of green where dreams take flight,
Beneath the sky of azure bright,
Childhood days, oh, pure delight,
Where laughter echoes in the light.
Amidst the trees, we used to roam,
In nature's arms, we found our home,
With friends so dear, we'd always roam,
Through meadows wide, we'd freely comb.
The sun above, a golden crown,
Its rays upon our faces shone,
We'd chase the wind across the town,
In our adventures, never alone.
Oh, the mischief we would weave,
In secret forts, our dreams conceive,
With sticks and stones, our battles leave,
In childish hearts, we'd always believe.
Through giggles shared and tears we'd cry,
In each other's arms, we'd never lie,
With every laugh, we'd touch the sky,
In friendship's bond, we'd soar so high.
So here's to days of youthful glee,
Of climbing trees and running free,
In nature's embrace, we found the key,
To a childhood filled with ecstasy.
