In shadows cast by the setting sun,
Echoes of valor, battles won,
World War II, a time so grim,
Yet courage shone through, heart's hymn.
Soldiers marched with heads held high,
Underneath the endless sky,
Their sacrifice, a solemn vow,
Fighting for freedom, then and now.
Through the smoke and the deafening roar,
They pressed on, seeking more,
For liberty's sake, they stood tall,
Bravery echoed, heard by all.
From Normandy's shores to Pacific seas,
They faced the storm, with courage, unease,
Every soul, every name,
In the annals of history, forever aflame.
Though time may pass, their memory lives,
In each story, each heart that gives,
Their legacy, a beacon bright,
Guiding us through the darkest night.
So let us honor, let us remember,
Their courage, their strength, an ember,
For in their sacrifice, we find,
The echoes of valor, forever intertwined.
