Echoes of the Same

Every ending felt the same.

By Mahmood AfridiPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

I whispered soft into my pain,

Hoping love would still remain.

But every hug turned into strain,

And all the sunshine wept like rain.

I held on tight but not in vain,

Even silence knew my chain.

He left, and all that did remain

Was me—alone, again the same.
