When The Birds Stop Singing

I know it wasn't yesterday that my phone stopped ringing, and its been weeks since the birds stopped singing.

You said you would come back when the time was right, but its been 4 months and three long nights.

Lately its just been me and the echoes of these walls talking.

I heard your voice in the kitchen, or maybe it was just the sink over filling.

I cant sleep, lost in my thoughts, we fought, so what!?

The pain of losing what we promised couldn't be lost.

I scream your name from behind closed doors, but you don't hear me no more, and these walls they don't talk to me no more.

You said you wouldn't go, but there you go.

Don't Go!
