Echoes of a Broken Heart

A Soul-Stirring Poem About Love, Loss, and the Silence That Follows

By Muhammad Published about a year ago • 1 min read

In the quiet of night, where memories bleed,

I gather the pieces of what used to be.

Your name, a whisper the wind won't forget,

A ghost in the room where our dreams once met.

I trace your goodbye like a wound that won't close,

A letter unwritten, a love no one knows.

Each heartbeat echoes what I can't restart—

The silent breaking of a hopeful heart.

I scream in silence, I weep in the dark,

Where laughter once lived, now sorrow leaves its mark.

The stars hold stories we never got to write,

Lost in the cold of a vanishing light.

You were my always, my never again,

The flame that burned too bright to remain.

Now all that lingers is the aching art—

Of love engraved on a shattered heart.
