Earthly rage

This rage

It's a rage of billions of years worth of lies, untruths and meaningless destruction.

It's coming

The rage is building

Energy gathering

Destruction unfolds

It's inevitable

Truth is the vent

The steam is building

Life is a delicate balance

The world this planet, her body will not end.

Will never die

But perhaps the inhabitants will.

The anger and rage continue spewing into volcanoes, storms, tornadoes, hurricanes tsunamis, earthquakes.

Running over banks and through fissures

As she breathes the shuddering begins

Rocks roll and tumble

Ripples flow out in the rivers and streams

Waves roll

Thunder and lightning clash through the skies

Winds begin where there is no breeze

Insects stop and pause in their beats

Silence speaks volumes

Before it begins

A crescendo of silence rains down

Then she sighs

Maybe not today

Maybe tomorrow

One storm

One eruption

One event

But maybe not

Maybe it will be a monstrous cataclysmic event

Maybe that will awaken the truth to all

Perhaps that's the call

For them to awaken to the truth

A truth so hard to believe

The truth is that humanity is killing themselves

I am not responsible for what they have done to my beautiful blue and green body

But I know how to regenerate and heal

I know what it's like to be a natural resource

But they are the parasites that take from greed

They do not know how to rejuvenate and heal

Take what is needed

No more no less

Let us live in harmony on a sustainable planet

Yet they cannot learn

They refuse to try

Most will not change in

This humanity tribe

Many will perish, suffer and leave

Some listen and try to lead

But most will not listen or care

The disease is real

The uncaring disease it is not my problem

Pass it away

Don't bother me

I have my own issues

My own problems in life

My agenda is more important

Let someone else fix it

It's not mine to change

I am one person I cannot do anything

Keep it hidden out of sight

I breathe it In

I sigh and release

My tension is building

Anger rises high

Storm season is about to begin

But seriously though, humans are the cancer cells of Earth. We're killing it. Loved your poem!
