Sunrise for an Alien

To welcome an alien from worlds unknown,

To offer a glimpse of what is Earth's own,

The first thing I'd share, a beacon of light,

Is the sunrise, a marvel, a daily delight.

As dawn breaks, with hues of rose and gold,

The world awakens, its stories unfold.

In the quiet embrace of the morning's embrace,

The sun paints the sky with a gentle grace.

With whispered promises of a day anew,

The sun's tender warmth, a timeless cue,

To life on Earth, in all its splendid forms,

From mountains to oceans, through raging storms.

I'd show them the dance of the leaves in the breeze,

The symphony of birds, the rustling of trees,

The quiet reflection in a tranquil lake,

The delicate ripples that a daybreak can make.

In this daily spectacle, I'd wish them to see,

The beauty of life, the boundless mystery.

That each day's beginning is a canvas so bright,

With endless potential and pure, radiant light.

For in this sunrise, we find hope and rebirth,

A universal language for life on Earth,

A shared, timeless moment that connects us all,

A reminder that we're part of a world so small.

So, to an alien visitor, here on our sod,

I'd introduce the sunrise, the gift from our God,

A symbol of hope, of beginnings untold,

The first thing to share, to bridge worlds and souls.
