As time goes by racing forward

No space, a breath to take

The world spins even faster day by day

What was once a steady throb

Now a sprint race

Against time and fate

With time ahead, fate can only

A gentle folk, taking every step

One at a time

While time, a rogue

Waits for no one

And takes rugged steps

Tumble and fall, it does

But gets up and picks the pace back up

Without pain and not a care to care

Time is ever running
