When it all comes crumbling down, who will pull you out of the rubble,

who will grab their shovel and dig, bandage your wounds when you're unable to lick them yourself?

When you go too far, who will come to find you again,

who will put their life on hold, answer the phone when you're alone and need someone at 3 a.m.?

How many wells have you let run dry &

when the drought comes, how many will you fall down looking for water?

sad poetry
