Drops
teardrop (noun) something shaped like a dropping tear specifically : a pendent gem (Merriam-Webster dictionary)
All the words have been used to tell the rain
But every drop has a new story to tell
No one, ever, can know what their heart will see
When a raindrop touches the inner sanctuary
~
Let the caress of the raindrops on your face,
Remind you of the tears that shaped your fate
Let the raindrops free the tears you earned
For they are the stream that whispers “you are brave”
~
The world feels threatened by our tears
Too afraid to see the beauty they reveal
The world wipes our tears away like a shameful disgrace
Ignoring the cracks that need to be loved
~
Let the tears soothe the sharp edges of your pains
They tell you that nothing was in vain
Let the tears show you grace
For every drop has a story to tell
~
The world needs to see all of you
Let your tears flow
They hold much more than your sorrow
They are the story of you the world needs to hear
~
Your tears are the ripple of a cosmic river
That carries you through life
Honor them like precious pearls
For every drop has a story to tell.
