Dreams

Unspoken

In Massachusetts, a tale unfolds,

A 33-year-old, a life, with a story to be told.

A daughter of Puerto Rican roots, her story's arc,

Weathered life's storms that left a scar.

Amidst drugs, alcohol, and painful abuse,

Bullied and bruised, yet she refused

To surrender to the darkness, to the fall,

In books, she sought solace and heard her soul's call.

Writing for her youth, from chaos, hope she frames,

A fighter, a dreamer amidst life's rain.

Survivors shaped by resilience firm,

In every battle, she proved the life she earned.

Once a little girl, dreams took flight,

Of a grand life, bathed in a cheerful light.

A big house, Disney trips, ice cream dates,

Dreams painted in vivid, beautiful states.

But dreams, they danced on fragile strings,

A key word echoed: "dreamed" in things.

Dreamt of happiness, laughter's embrace,

Love-filled days, life's tranquil space.

High school's praise, college's halls,

Career paths are charted within those walls.

Marriage vows, children, to hold,

A family, a legacy, no place for fear.

Unlearning patterns, a harrowing quest,

As an adult, she put her ambitions to the test.

A life woven, dreams' tapestry sewn,

In a loving family, the seeds of dreams are sowed.

A story spun from clutter, bold and true,

In the heart of Massachusetts, a spirit grew.

Fantasies, not merely dreams but life's embrace,

She fashioned a family, a loving place.

With each chapter, she rewrote the script,

From adversity, a story well-equipped.

A symphony of strength in every groove,

A 33-year-old, in triumph, proved.

From dreams once dreamed to life's tableau,

From state to state, her stories flow.

crafting hope from life's despair,

She found a love that mends each tear.

In this saga of survival and love's embrace,

She stands tall, a testament to grace.
