Dream Killers

Beware

By Rowan Finley Published 6 years ago 1 min read

Don't share your Dream with just anyone,

before you know it, they'll make you feel undone.

You may fall into atramentous pits,

and your passion and pizzazz may be on the fritz;

Keep your Dream a secret and you'll hit a home run.

The wolves hang out their Dream killers,

wildly wicked mongrels and their worldly thrillers.

Worse than superstitious foes and their evil dream catchers,

nastily nefarious and morose like body snatchers;

Keep your Dream a secret until it becomes such as stately pillars.

A cloak of vivid colors your Dream shall soon become,

and the rest of the world will reel because you've won.

Aghast at your brilliance and stunning creativity,

will banish all the hints of the past's insensitivity;

For your Dream was born, into Life it was homespun!
