Dream
You were my dream. Now I’ve woken up.

My nights are filled with silence
Your laughter
Your voice
Only an echo of memory
The walls hold only a reminder
Of happier times
Before demons caught us
And we were prisoners to their whims
The loneliness has set in
But I still dream of you
And the times we had together
I still dream of you
And I’m not alone anymore
Not until I awaken to the emptiness
The emptiness you left me with
In my heart
In my soul
In my mind
And not even a dream can take that away
