Double Exposure

finally That Lucky

By Ria Published 2 years ago 1 min read

She was lucky enough to meet you/ Looking for people when she had one voice in her corner/ Her mind blossomed/ her heartbeat thrummed/ Her smile thrived.

Each day the conversations grew/ Geniuneness/ Consistency.

Now she sees you/ hears your voice.

When she saw you the first time/ separated by glass and land/ Her heart melted/ seeing such softness.

She was given the great opportunity/ To feel the weight of her chest flutter away twice/ Once through the glass and again when she finally holds your hand.

She dreams infinitely of the time she'll spend/ To loosely be enthralled in your time/ Not yet wondering of how the departure will tear her apart.

But the time and glass will make it all the better/ If the land could not hurt her neither will one last hug/ She will hold on to the feeling of seeing you and holding your hand in hers.

She will keep close the feeling of weightlessness when she sees you/ Nothing in between but air and atmosphere.
