Don’t Believe Him… He Is a Liar

Ever trust a word he says

Don’t Believe Him… He Is a Liar

His smile is stitched with borrowed grace,
A velvet mask upon his face.
He speaks in whispers, soft and low,
Planting seeds he’ll never grow.

His promises are made of smoke,
Each tender word another joke.
He’ll swear the stars were meant to shine,
Then steal the daylight, line by line.

Don’t believe him—he is a liar.
He feeds on trust to build his fire.
He wears the truth like borrowed skin,
While darkness laughs beneath his grin.

He knows the weakness in your soul,
The hidden cracks he longs to own.
He’ll praise your heart, then twist the blade,
Leaving love to slowly fade.

His footsteps echo without sound,
Yet broken dreams are always found.
He never stays to face the cost;
He counts his victories by the lost.

The moon has watched his shadow roam,
Turning every heart to stone.
Even ravens leave the sky
When they hear another lie.

So close the gate and lock the door;
Don’t chase what never loved before.
Some faces bloom like roses fair,
Yet hide sharp thorns beneath their care.

Believe the silence, not his tongue.
Truth grows old, but lies stay young.
Walk away and let him see
His poison holds no power over me.
