Stay with me

I know you want to go

And you so many reasons.

But your love is all I know

Yet it’s changing like the seasons.

I know I can’t make you stay

When there is all this pain every day.

And I’ll tell you this

That you’re what I’ll miss.

I won’t give up without a fight.

I’m sure we can find the light

And bring us back from this fright.

I know your heart

Falls apart

And wishes to depart.

But let me tell you

If you want to leave

It’ll be hard to believe

That the wind took and blew you away.

You’re everything to fight for

So I’ll meet you on the shore.

So I can just say:

“Don’t go away”
