Don't

when your flesh is weak

and you want to give in

don't

when you've lost the will

and the resolve to fight

don't

when the mountains ahead

feel impossible to climb

don't

when the holes you've dug

feel like their caving in

don't

Thanks for reading!

Author's Notes: Could easily be paired with the other of my most recent poems - some encouragement, inspiration and just some words to say - I know and feel it too sometimes.

You can also take a look at the rest of my work here.

My debut book, The Accidental Poet, is out now on Amazon on Kindle and in paperback, here.
