Distraction of Competition
Don't lose sight of the true Goal
Dear readers, beware of the dangers of competing.
If you take nothing away from any of my writings, please heed this one.
Stories are meant to be shared for the joy of sharing them.
They are not meant to be thrown out as if from an AI to see who can always be first.
Reading a story is supposed to bring joy to the reader.
Authors are worried more about coming in first and making more money than Stephen King.
Care should be given before you lose the joy of writing that you have now.
The time will come when joy will flee every time you sit to pen a story.
If you do not heed my warning now, and stop competing all the time.
One day you will wake up and the joy will be gone and writing will just be another job for you.
Never forget the true goal, entertaining people with your imagination.

Oh this is soooo true! Totally agree with you!
A lesson that many need to learn. Write from the heart, not with the ego.
