An Acrostic Poem about Distraction for Coping

Dancing inside the shadows,

I am numbing out the pain.

Soon I notice some kind of feeling.

The feeling inside me is pain.

Reaching out for help is uncomfortable

Always as if I need to

Count on other people for help.

They are able to help me

Instead of me helping myself.

Only my best friends and doctors can aid,

Never my own brain helping itself.
