Distant Memories

Distant Memories

Distant Memories

You reach into the depths of distant memories,

and I hold my heart out to you.

Your love, silent and unspoken,

fills the secret chambers of my soul.

I linger on the far horizon,

accompanied by a wisp of drifting fragrance

waiting for you.

You replace words with silence,

and I pour true feelings into the quiet seasons.

Longing wears the cloak of solitude,

carrying love softly and steadily.

Amid the tangled threads of thought,

I wait for you.

You walk through lonely sorrow,

I endure the anxious hours,

sorting countless worries.

On the same rainy day,

under the same gentle heart-rain,

I replace farewell with eternal love,

and wait for you.

You say this is the cycle of a past life;

I say it is fate.

This quiet prelude has long paused there,

brushing away the bashfulness of moonlight,

revealing the beauty of unspoken devotion.

In the ending of this heaven,

I still wait for you.
