Was it real
Did that really happen to me
Was I was really there
Is that what I really saw
How can I not know
What memories were reality
If it haunts me this much
It must be real right ?
There's no recollection
Of before or after
Only the moment it happened.
I don't want to think
It makes it hard to eat
Hard to breathe
There's no where to go
Give me a drink
Give me something
Anything to sedate me
To make the thoughts and feelings
Less heavy
To make this body comfy
And not so suffocating
Please give me something
To put me at ease
I want to feel it all leaving my body
Like I'm bleeding
Numb me
So
I can pretend I'm at peace
