The lack of harmony was atrocious. A clash of tensions and undue violence. Conflicting and contradictory. There was no reprieve nor any resolution. No mercy or retreat into submission. I was made for the battlefield. Surrender was never in my repertoire. Forever clashing against sword and shield. I have braved the cruelest of elements and emerged ready for more brutality. These bodies were meant for shallow graves and frozen mortuaries. Proposed death means nothing to me. Deferred dreams are rising to the surface where you and I are destined to dance. I've had enough of Sleeping Beauty rest. I know nothing of dread. The land is riddled with corpses that were once full of life. I swore to meet you in the middle where we would put our strength to the test. My light kept getting dimmer and dimmer but my determination keeps me driven. We are woven into the seams of war together. Trapped in the tapestry of the universe. So many cuts for the blood to leave my body but it has refused. I've had a change of plans. I've course-corrected and your presence no longer fits into my strategy. There will be no exceptions. We are long overdue. Coward, my sword calls for you. Resilience is a quality that was never within your reach. Watch me as I ride the lightning and storm the thunder. Bare witness as I arise and refuse to go under. Chosen by circumstances to elevate. This is simply a chance I must take.
