unknown lies, broken promises

unspoken words, heart wrenching truths

bitter is the stench, loneliness the disease

aching to the bone and sore to the core

the harder we try the further we are

falling away as we're falling apart

lost without you but too pained to be near

my heart is breaking this is too much to bear

I wish there was a way to save us bring us back to life

so we can relive the happiness and joy we both once felt

the beauty of our laughter the blooming of our love, like petals

no way to be bound shining light and blistery bounds

unstoppable and incurable we once were

beauty escaped us and there was no uncertainty for sure

lying in your arms I've never felt so alone

too tired to keep on fighting yet still fighting to stay sane

hoping for a miracle knowing there's no such thing

still seeking an answer to this misery

hoping to be able to go on without you

searching for the strength to go and move on

after you are gone and there is nothing left

but still praying for the cure for the disease

sad poetry
