Discarnate

a pain

By CotardDelusionzPublished 4 years ago • 1 min read

A discarnate being.

I'm no longer here,

Just a spectator, only seeing.

A mouth with no sound,

Unseen,

Stuck in an unpleasant dream.

Just see me,

Make me believe,

I’m more than a discarnate being.

I reach out,

But There's nothing I can grasp,

Through everything my fingertips go,

I grasp and grasp

But I feel nothing but a breeze

I reach for it

I don't want it to go

I don't want to lose it

But there it leaves

Within my reach

Because there's nothing I can keep.

I don't want to lose it

But I watch it leave

Because I am a discarnate being
