missed appointments
broken friends

tears and clawed frustrations
are just something "pretty tough"
if you can still hold down a job
or hold up a grade

or that's what they've explained
projects left unfinished
life left all unplanned
mad and lost and terrified
your grip has turned to sand
they could have pulled you from the edge
but they said you weren't there
no one believes you're going to jump

Charlene Lind found herself at the home of her therapist, Dr. Alexandra Vech, who she had been seeing for a week.
