To Connect or to Distract
Dialing into a world far and wide,
In the palm of my hand, where dimensions collide.
Social media's lure, a seductive call,
Traveling through images, a visual sprawl.
Reality, now at my fingertips' reach,
A universe of knowledge, ready to teach.
Connections made, in fractions of a second,
Temptation to divert, and create misdirection.
Into the rabbit hole, so easy to slip,
Opening the door for a digital trip.
Never-ending distraction from open-ended connection.
