Devastation and Creation

January 1, 2015

When it shouldn’t have,

Or, couldn’t have,

It does

It makes its way,

Shoving through

The crowd

The others are there,

They aren’t ignored,

Still in the mix

Aware, the bomb,

Implosion,

Shrapnel

Sifting through the rubble,

Some is untouched,

Most destroyed

It’s still there,

Not ready yet

Though

Energy expelled,

Expect encircling enemies,

Encased

Damage done,

Devastation doesn’t

Detract

Can’t contain,

Could complain,

Cherish creation

Out of the rock,

It looks broken,

But the shape can change

Free form,

Free from,

Frantically fleeing

Neither created,

Nor destroyed,

Just changed

Morphing, from one

Phase to the next,

Forever
