Destined Love

What was that feeling, you may ask?

By Bré LeePublished about a year ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read
Dedicated to the person I love most

Souls falling in love before hearts,

A destiny so true, it sets us apart.

Miles apart, yet fate had its say,

Same place, same time, one moment to stay.

God is real, I know for sure,

Because you exist, my heart's only cure.

In your warm presence, I feel complete,

My Broken parts tended to, a feeling so sweet.

Something so beautiful, made with intention,

You my love, my true work of art's creation.

August 2016, a feeling so strong,

A knowing so deep, I turned around.

Tall, handsome, and muscular too,

Deep brown eyes that trapped me through.

Everything slowed down, I took in your aura,

A glow, a warmth, and familiarity I could not describe.

I didn't know your name, but our love wasn't a game,

God made us for each other, a feeling never to wane.

My heart was relentless, a feeling like a flame,

A knowing so deep, our love had no name.

What was that feeling, you may ask?

Destiny, my love, our eternal task.

Our souls entwined like a symphony,

A love so pure, it's our destiny.

XOXO
