Determined as we were to see what we could be
Inseparable in the times we had
Silence became the only conversation we could have
That ultimately lead to our end
Resolute in the facts, we could not mend
Asunder we drifted apart, a gap too large for either to cross
Consumed with the art of wanting to be right
Torn apart, unable to be brought back together
I will miss you when we fall to pieces
Onward we must go, maybe to see each other again
Never to truly know
