She was always an unusual girl
desiring love from everyone and no one
giving love to no one and everyone
Waiting
on the side of the road
the hot-headed angelically beautiful devil
in the shadows of the gas station
bottle of £2 wine in hand
a pack of cigarettes
Waiting
for someone to strip off those jean shorts and white shirt
take her soul out of the body
scratch off her skin and sin
the dirt of the road
blood from the passion
She was always an unusual girl
With every held breath
fainting from the pleasure of mortality
With every decision
shredding the past
With every gaze
seducing heavy bike riders
lost souls in the desert of their hearts
desperate men searching for a touch
full bearded dishevelled losers
sweat smelling farmers
tattoos covered rebels
alcohol breathed sinners
bohemian
wanderers
She was always an unusual girl
on the back of the Harley Davidson
laughing and crying
crying and laughing
A wild predator captured in a cage
built on promises and empty words
hysterically screaming
from the loneliness and submission
The imaginary freedom covered the dissatisfaction
forcing her to keep
living
breathing
faking
loving
She was always an unusual girl
