Delphinia

as constructive as a sparrow-

Her dilemma,

does hope override

our

innate, inquisitive, instinct

She wears, a crown

of woven blue delphinium,

Whilst dancing through

scorpion grass fields,

along a mucky riverbank-

Delphinia has no reason

to gather materials-

Her delima,

does

hope give us patience,

Or

does the lack of hope

grant us impertinence?

Dazedly, daydreaming, Delphinia

munches down scorpion grass-

Her openness oozes ommph

leaves no time for nesting-

Leaves rearing future

generations at a loss—

Delphinia surene demeanor,

like a Queen bee,

reigning freely...

Or regard

merely as

a pollinator

ceasing mustering the tiniest

urge to flutter!

Delphinia is the nectar of the sweetest flower!

Beaming gleefully, as she resurfaced—

A mere fluke,

sharp, sultry, selective

shapeshifter of the River

Hope is a force-

Hope is present in our actions

Hope is persistent influences

Delirious, defensive, delphinium

Petals fall as allusive

as the thorns offer protection

Hope is all;

resolution that saves

Delphinia from drowning...
