Eliminating The Royal Treat

Ducks and Geese

Are not at peace

Someone is enlarging their livers

Claiming appetizers are festive winners

Buttery and rich

Featured delicacy in a French gourmet pitch

But no longer the platter is there

PETA said it was unfair

To fatten the livers

Of the Ducks and Geese only for a dinner

“This is cruel and inhumane

They told the wealthy and fame

Make it go away

Or you will all pay”

Steaming creamy peas are now the joys

For the girl and boys

Enough plumping up the poor old geese and duck

Instead find something that will bring a little luck

Like obese fishes from the sea

Food that will be devoured by you and me
