Dear You,

A message to you, to remember.

Dear You,

Yes, I said it, dear You,

I just wanted to say,

You have made some mistakes,

And that’s okay.

You have had some pains and aches,

Along the way,

You have caused them too.

And that’s okay.

You are just you.

There is nothing wrong,

You’re human, through and through.

Some days will be hard and long,

But to yourself, remember: always be true.

Make your way in life, and trudge along,

And in your wake,

Happiness and pain will both seep through.

But you should always partake,

In this life, even when others do wrong,

Because to you,

You will always be you,

Shiny, loved and true.

With all my love, You.
