The Storm

Dear Uncle Tony,

I am writing to you from the sea

Send me a sign, please,

Tony, I’m tired, but my family needs me

Righteous anger has burned me

And my blood is no longer sweet

Careless nature has turned me

Tony, I’m sick, but my love doesn’t hear me

I smell death on my body and

Oh, man, how I wish to be free with

Nothing left to bother me

love poems
