Dear once-loved,
As I scream at the brick wall my fears engulf me,
I feel the crushing nature of your foot as you walk by my finished chapter, trodding on my incomplete future,
Leaving me confused as to why you couldn't hear the torment,
My life the crushed insect, your life the isolated spider.
"The insect is important", I shout,
They bring about life and nature,
We should protect, encourage and aid,
As the insect knows not of its impact or joy, only hatred the world enforces,
The spider worries not about the fragile mind, only the desire inside.
As the beast spins its web my mind mellows to the thoughts,
Acclimatises to the imperfection, as I do not wish to die in your deceit,
My life, insect or not, won't be dictated by the loneliness of an eensy weensy spider.
Dear once-loved, I have broken free of the web,
I am free,
But now like you, alone...

I don't really write, much... or at all. I just thought I needed a place to remember where I've come from so I can move on to the future. I hope someone enjoys my writing, and hopefully it isn't too cringy.
