Dear bird, do you sense things?

Dear bird, where are you flying to?

piercing through the cloud-holes,

drifting thousands of miles away, away,

every single year, you keep migrating,

to places, at intervals, different, why?

do you wish to tell us a secret?

dear bird, can you sense things,

like an impending tornado, an impending hurricane,

months ago, in advance, that sixth sense,

acting as a cosmic connection, with,

with the intricacies of the universe,

I wonder do you do it?

so many scientists, with technologies advanced,

artificial bits of intelligence, just falling through,

in front of your predictions, little bird,

I wish we never know, the neural networking,

your brain has setup with mother nature,

maybe, instead, we follow your path, the indications,

those pathways you've left behind, and understand,

climate change, natural disasters, and,

nature, naturally!

Recent studies have suggested that birds, especially veery birds have this capability to predict the hurricane season well in advance based on when they migrate off to a different place every single year.
