Darling

pt.1

By JAMRPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

Darling

I could still wait for you

My darling

I still want to save you

Oh darling

My love felt so sparkling

And yet I feel like I’m drowning

Because again I have nothing

Once again is me and silence

But darling

Even in deep silence

Is the sound of your voice that in my heart keeps shouting:

“Don’t go stay here more”

But my darling

Can’t you feel that I’m burning?

The lack of your love killed me two months ago

Risked it all

Broke my bones

Bet my heart

Ripped my soul

I said “it’s going to work out”

And yet everything went so wrong

I needed it to stop

But darling

The pain just grows

All I know

Is that my love is yours

But my darling

Can’t you remember?

Endless nights

Bright smiles

Only you me and our time

It wasn’t special enough?

I gave you all my love and you just forgot?

I guess at the end I was left out alone on this boat

And yet, my darling

Oh darling

I think of you and I can’t stop smiling

Because it was when I met you that I met happiness

How has it ended in such a tragedy?

Will you ever come find me?

Or are you fine with this silence?

Oh darling

My darling

I never left you

Broke down

Or replaced you

I kept you as my treasure

But you forgot the most pure thing you ever had

From so many people

It was me who held your heart

It was me and my love what you had on your hands

How could you just sabotage that?

My darling

I gave you love

Because that’s what you needed the most

It was what you deserved

But you kept pushing me away

No matter what I said

So now we meet up with loss

And even so

For you I’ll leave an open door

I just won’t sit there waiting any more

Because I need some time on my own

But please darling just remember

Oh darling

You will always be

My darling
