Dark Girl/ Light Girl

You dream/you breathe in

Dark girl, with the eyes so piercing

You can dream up things with a bit of light,

shadows envelop your story

But do not overtake your dreams

You breathe in, you breathe out wispy

Bits of that light, on paper

In love and support,

Through a deep exhausting expression,

Like an

Exhale that shakes and trembles,

But continues,

The Dark Girl that confines herself to her mask.

Light Girl swirling around the silence,

Like a new sun,

A star,

Gleaming new piercing stares,

The two unite,

Light & Dark.

Dark Girl with the eyes so

Piercing,

What do you dream?

Your voice is clear, your dreams

Just lurking below your cavernous and mountainous peak, sharp and twinkling,

Like a brilliant flower,

Growing and flourishing,

Despite the harsh environment around her.
