Dark Fate

The Husk Collection

We used to be close

We’d laugh and share our lives

You were my best friend

But that's all said and done

Your jealousy was wrong

It was just so misplaced

It hurt the things you said

It was wrong

The times were great

But all that ends

It’s what I call

Just a dark fate

Not sure what you’re doing now

Don’t know where you’ve been

Our lives no longer move

On that parallel

It was just so misplaced

It hurt the things you said

The times were great

But all that ends

It’s what I call

Just a dark fate

Times were good

I don't know what happened

It hurt

The things you said

Your jealousy misplaced

In this dark fate

The times were great

But all that ends

It’s what I call

Just a dark fate
