Dark Clouds Up & Ahead

Some weather issue right there

Why do these dark clouds repeatedly form above my head?

Why, I ask, over and over again?

Why do you rain on my parade?

Should I just blame all the bad on me?

These is only the feeling of jadedness left,

Sure with a sprinkling of some temporary happy moments

Where I smile,

When I see your smiling face.

But then I go back to my numb self,

Because I know too well how you take my smile away,

Snatch it away, almost.

We all have our flaws, sure.

We all handle ups and downs in different ways,

Then why is your way correct, and mine wrong,

Wrong! Wrong! Wrong!

Especially when your way doesn't get us anywhere?

Yes, us.

A concept you fail to understand, it seems.

I'm so fed up of the same ol' drudgery

That I keep trying so hard to escape from

I'm tired of running away,

My feet hurt.

My heart hurts even more

Having been called needy, selfish, ungrateful,

When these are just my very late reactions,

To your...

Inactions.

I suppose it is once again a reminder

That I'm not allowed to say again,

Or feel anything,

Or voice any of these things out.

But too made.

You should know I'm a Pisces.

We love to escape.

And I will escape this version of you.

Soon.
