the way the wind
dances
across a sand dune.

floating
through mountains of sand,
finding beauty with each grain in hand.

savoring every bite,
exhaling vibrant light,
sister
partner
lover
life.

a glimmer of night.
some bonds can never be broken,
and I am happy to squeeze
