I

Damn these fleas!

Hopping on my knees.

Little black specks

that I constantly pinch and squeeze.

II

Never any relief

from the blood-sucking thief.

The moment you show skin

They pounce with no grief.

III

Brush them away

and they’ll come back another day.

Squeeze them dead

and another comes to play.

IV

Damn you fleas!

Stop hopping on my knees!

Just give me a break

and let me be, please?
