Damballah & Ayida

The Wedo Have Come Down

By Lily SéjorPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

Slithering out of the primordial darkness

Irresistible eyes the color of amber

Long as a Winter solstice night, Damballah, the Sacred Serpent,

Enhaloes the world with his shiny alabaster scales

Not a second behind, Ayida descends, iridescent skin with a molten metal’s sheen

Crawling atop her lover’s body, she pulls him in a dance, suspended in quiet

Eternity

About the Creator

Lily Séjor

Lily is really not the best at describing herself, so she'll put this down for now and circle back when (if) she's inspired. For now, she wants you to know that she's your verbose friend who rarely knows what to say.
