I feel like my eyes can't take it all in.
My mind just can't register it.
Overwhelmed is what I'd call it-
Sensory overload.
Some things are just so beautiful or simply breathtaking.
I wish those moments would last longer.
I feel so rushed trying to comprehend what's in front of me.
It started raining really hard.
Without even a second thought,
I ran out into the parking lot.
Oh, it was wonderful.
It was like hail but I wouldn't call it that.
It was tiny chunks of ice, clear ice.
Small, hard crystals pouring from the sky in sheets.
That's what I would call it.
Crystals.
And it was falling so fast.
The sky was pitch black and the asphalt looked like a lake in a storm.
It's a black river! she repeatedly shouted into the wall of noise.
The ice chunks under my bare feet hurt but adrenaline killed the pain,
and the cold.
It was so great-
My adrenaline stopped.
I got cold.
It was time to go inside.
I didn't want to leave.
The moment was pure magic.
I had to go in.
My feet were going numb.
It hadn't been five minutes.
It went way too fast.
I came in wishing for a waterproof camera.
I came in wishing to go back out.
I came in wet.
I remained in my damp clothes as I finished up my homework, letting my hair dry.
It was worth it.
It was more than worth it.
