I thought you were dead

A memory long gone

An infection of illusion

I sang your death song

Threw dirt over your corpse

In hopes you’d never darken my minds door

Yet, you harken me now

To follow into the darkness of my soul

An unending hole

A toll on my mind

Rejection from every direction

An unforgettable memory of treachery
